Antique Fine Cleaver Knife with Solid Carbon Steel Blade & Wood Handle. Foster Brothers Cutlery Company was founded by Frank and Allie Foster in 1878 in Fulton, New York.
In 1904, John Chatillon & Sons Company acquired Foster Brothers Cutlery and changed the name to Foster Bros & Chatillon Company. Has the blade forged from the fine solid carbon steel. The handle is double pinned over the full tang and single ferruled to sure fitting for durability, strength, & balance.
It has the good condition. Maintenance Suggestion: Hand wash only in warm water after using, especially if used on foods that have acidic sauce/liquid.
