Found in the original box the blade appears to be in great shape and sharp, slight patina due to the batter of carbon steel but no pits or anything bad. There are a couple of dings on the top of the blade that could be easily worked out. Outside of that it is in mint condition, the handle has a couple of stress marks but nothing that would develop into more than a fair line fracture.
