Pre-Sabatier Guyot-Gailard Very Old and Perfect Thayers-Paris. My spelling is not all that great on this listing. I believe this knife is from Thayers France near Paris. I place this knife at the turn of the century- definitely pre WWI maybe 1890's -Definitely the oldest knife I own.

Beautiful knife, great ballance for his or her kitchen. Some light pitting on rt side of knife, knife has great patina. Full tang construction, rat tail nut at rear of handle is perfect. Beautiful Ebony wood handle trails a thin old style bolster.
