This is the professional high end quality Chef's knife produced from France with a Nogent-style process. Blade, bolster, and rat-tail tang are forged from a single piece of steel and fitted with a handle.

A hand shaping and sharpening process using local skilled labour. The knife has the blade hand forged from the fine carbon steel designed to take a finer edge and hold it longer providing sharp cutting satisfaction. The tang is fitted with the composite handle to sure fitting to make it both easy and comfortable to use. Weight 1 - 2 oz. Maintenance Suggestion: Hand wash only in warm water after using, especially if used on foods that have acidic sauce/liquid. After washing it, wipe the blade and handle completely dry.
