RARE - PROBABLY CUSTOM MADE / SPECIAL ORDER FOR A WEALTHY CUSTOMER - BEAUTIFUL - PERFECT / UNUSED - VINTAGE OR ANTIQUE. Truly an appreciating piece and soon to become antique! This impeccable set appears as new/unused yet dates NO LATER than 1955 when the John Hasselbring Company ceased doing business.
This set probably dates to the 1930's - 1940s. They shine and reflect like mirrors. Largest piece, the larger knife, is 15 long. Shortest piece, the smaller fork is 8 long. Each piece has a genuine boar / hog tusk handle. All handles are shiny and smooth to the touch.Custom fitted box, leather covered features a hand painted wild boar on a ceramic tile on the lid. It is signed by the artist, "Philippe". Box is very nice but shows a few storage marks. The hardware (closures and hinges) works as new. We can even arrange viewings in person.
