1880s Nürnberg GG Leykauf SET OF THREE PORECLAIN FLORAL PATTERNED HANDLED KNIVES
We recently acquired a number of silver, sterling silver, gold jewelry, pill boxes, cutlery, and other delights. They all came from an estate of a recently deceased, elderly Irish friend who held huge significance and influence within both the California art and academic world. We've recruited some knowledgeable help to sort through and assist in identifying the many pieces of the collection.
The knives (blades) are in solid shape overall. The handles show wear and have broken parts see photos.
The length of each knife is just under 6.5 - the items have not been cleaned or polished we didn't want to do anything that may cause a problem. Please feel free to offer any information or observations on this listing. Sifting through the many items is turning out to be a long process, so any extra help, guidance, or pointers, will be very much appreciated.The collection is eccentrically eclectic with many odd, fascinating, and rare objects.
