Vintage 3XL Cimiter Slicing Knife with Carbon Steel Curved Blade & Wood Handle. Ed Wusthof or Dreizack was founded in 1814 in Solingen of Germany. It was owned privately by the same family for seven generations. All of the knives and forks are precision forged through a manufacturing process of 40 steps. It is well-known for making quality kitchen cutlery, shears, pocket knives and other cooking accessories. This knife is made in the famous city of blade Solingen, Germany. Solingen is renowned for manufacturing of fine swords, knives, scissors, and razors. This knife has the blade forged from the fine carbon steel. Designed to take a finer edge and hold it longer providing sharp cutting satisfaction.

The handle is triple riveted over the full tang almost. To sure fitting for durability, strength, & balance. SOLINGEN - UNMARKED ED WUSTHOF --- ca. Weight 7 - 9 oz. Pitting patina on both sides of the blade & dented handle with roughness (last four photos), blade structure and handle structure are good.

Maintenance Suggestion: Hand wash only in warm water after using, especially if used on foods that have acidic sauce/liquid. After washing it, wipe the blade and handle completely dry.

Use of electric knife sharpener or dishwasher not recommended. None of the material may be copied or republished.
