Vintage Fully Acier Forged Style 3XL Chef Knife with Carbon Steel Blade & Wood Handle Made by Sabatier K. Sabatier K was founded over one hundred years ago. Sabatier K Jeune is a brand known and recognized for its exceptional quality in France and abroad.

This is the professional high end quality Chef's knife produced from the Thiers region of France using a fully forged process. Blade, bolster, and tang are forged from a single piece of steel. A hand shaping and sharpening process using local skilled labour.

This knife has the blade fully forged from the carbon steel. Designed to take a finer edge and hold it longer providing sharp cutting satisfaction. The handle is triple riveted over the full tang to sure fitting for durability, strength, & balance.

Weight 12 - 14 oz. Pitting patina on both sides of the blade & cracked handle both sides (last four photos), blade structure & handle structure are good. Maintenance Suggestion: Hand wash only in warm water after using, especially if used on foods that have acidic sauce/liquid. After washing it, wipe the blade and handle completely dry.
