Vintage Huge Heavy Fully Forged Sabatier Style Chef Knife with Carbon Steel Blade & Wood Handle. This is the professional high end quality Chef's knife produced from the Thiers region of France using a fully forged process. Blade, bolster, and tang are forged from a single piece of steel. A hand shaping and sharpening process using local skilled labour.
This knife has the blade fully forged from the finest carbon steel designed to take a finer edge and hold it longer providing sharp cutting satisfaction. The handle is triple riveted over the full tang to sure fitting for durability, strength, & balance. DUE BUOI - Two Bullocks Logo. Pitting patina on both sides of the blade (last two photos), blade structure is good.Maintenance Suggestion: Hand wash only in warm water after using, especially if used on foods that have acidic sauce/liquid. After washing it, wipe the blade and handle completely dry.
