This is a beautiful set of brand new, unused Oneida Community silverplate flatware in the "Affection" (039) pattern from 1960, totaling 87 pieces, in a wooden storage box. The set originally consisted of place settings for 12 persons (65 pieces), but additional new pieces were added to make it very nearly place settings for 16. It is missing just one dinner fork to make the 16 place settings complete - it appears that maybe one too many salad forks was acquired instead.

There are 87 pieces in total (Service for 12 plus added extras). 12 + 4 dinner knives.

12 + 3 dinner forks. 12 + 5 salad forks. 12 + 4 table/soup spoons. 13 + 4 tea spoons (1 extra in original set).

2 large solid serving spoons, 1 large slotted serving spoon, 1 ladle, 1 butter knife, 1 sugar spoon. All pieces are in brand new condition, with some of the extras still in plastic wrappers. They have no damage, wear, tarnish, or signs of use. The anti-tarnish case and its lining are in perfect condition. The wood case appears to be walnut. When the case is closed it measures approx.

15" wide x 11" deep x 3 tall. All items come from a smoke-free environment.
