Tichet 18 1/2 Blade Ham Slicer France- Carbon Steel Knife. This knife is the oldest in my collection by far.
Probably 1890's to around the1920's. Blade is straight and sharp. The four indentations on the handle are identification markers, like a persons name, so someone that does not own the knife won't walk off with it. Ebony Handle, eight sided wood handle with chip on the bottom (see photos) Handle is tight to the knife.Knife is fairly light for it's size. Carbon Steal 18 1/2 AOL: Almost two feet.
