Vintage Huge Hammer Forged Chef Knife with Carbon Steel Blade & Wood Handle Made by Clyde Cutlery Company. Clyde Cutlery Company was founded in 1850 in Clyde, Ohio. This knife has the blade hand forged from the fine carbon steel. Designed to take a finer edge and hold it longer providing sharp cutting satisfaction. The handle is triple riveted over the full tang to sure fitting to make it both easy and comfortable to use.

It is the most versatile of all knives. It is designed for cutting most vegetables and fruits into chunks, julienne strips, bias cut, dicing or slicing. It is Clyde Cutlery Company. Weight 11 - 12 oz. Maintenance Suggestion: Hand wash only in warm water after using, especially if used on foods that have acidic sauce/liquid.
