Vintage in American Walnut Box. The steel in these blades are a high carbon and a high tungsten alloy it is recognized as the steel that cuts other steel. This 10-piece set (9 knives plus box) is from the 1950's - 1960's. They are securely contained within a walnut presentation box with a lift out tray for the fork and a carving serving knife.

2 Carving knives (Little Snick) 7 ½' blade including handle are12 5/8, one of these is extra as there isn't a designated space for it in the box. 1 Carving fork (Ron) including handle is 11.25" 6 steak knives (Miming) 3" blades including handle are 8 1/2" Solid walnut box is 18" x 5" x 3.5" Box and removable tray are in great condition. Velvet lining has some wear. The case is solid with tight hinges. "Gerber Legendary Blades" is burned into the bottom of the box. The whole set-in box weighs 4 lbs. The sharp blades and handles show wear marks/light scratches.

Minor scuffs and scratches on box some wear on velvet felt lining. Please zoom and view all pictures as they are part of the description.
