A gorgeous, rare set of six stainless steel pastry or cake forks, with the accompanying pie or cake server, in the stylish Alveston pattern, designed for Old Hall Tableware by the celebrated designer, Robert Welch - circa the 1960s. Alveston consists of a long, elegant, modernist shape with a satin finish.

The cake forks are in an excellent, lightly used condition, and measure approximately 6 3/8" long - marked to undersides as "OLD HALL STAINLESS ENGLAND. The pie or cake server has more signs of use - some scratches to the shiny serrated lift, which is etched as Old Hall STAINLESS SHEFFIELD ENGLAND.

Smashing pieces of Mid-Century designer stainless cutlery, for use and display. Please note that these items are stored in part of the house away from the rest of the family, I have no symptoms of the virus, and I wash my hands before packing anything - we are being very careful when we leave the house (rarely). After time spent in the post, items should not then be contaminated, even if they had been (which is unlikely).
